Come here to see your horses and to tack them up for a ride! Each barn aisle has room for four cross-tied horses, and there are saddle racks and halter hooks beside every stall. Applewood Stables has no feed room--the feed container and hay is kept at the very end of the barn aisle.

The indoor ring is mostly used for everyday work and dressage, but jumping lessons are also held in here. Make sure you close the gate going in and out, and try to pick up any rocks you see if you are on foot.

This outdoor ring is good for jumping or just practicing your horse out on grass. The fences aren't very high so watch out and make sure someone accompanies you every time you ride here!

All boarders and students can keep their tack in here. There are saddle racks and cubbyholes for all your gear, and bridle & girth hooks installed for every horse in the barn. Beginner students can borrow helmets here.

Put your horses out to pasture here! The pasture is split into two for stallions and geldings & mares, so make sure you close the gates. The grass may be tempting to have a gallop on, but you are definitely not allowed!

This house was remade in 2001 from its old-style stone walls. It was formerly a mansion, but when Applewood was turned into an upscale stable the house was converted into a two-story farmhouse. It has a fireplace in the living room and some still very old structures.

All grooms hired to work at Applewood will be given free housing here, in a cottage with 5 small bedrooms and a big kitchen. The cottage is just a few steps away from the stable, so you can walk up to the horses right away.

The apple orchard lining this riding trail gives Applewood Stables its name. It's beautiful in spring when all the trees are in bloom, and harvest season brings plenty of apples for cider, applesauce, and just plain eating!

This trail used to be part of the pasture, but is now a trail for a quick refreshing gallop across almost-endless fields of green. The ground gets too hard on the horses' hooves in some weather, though, so be careful.
